Kirkby Overblow Golf Day

After an absence of eight years, the Kirkby Overblow Golf Day is back in the 2026 calendar and will be held on Friday 25th September at Pannal Golf Club.

If you’re a Pannal member, it’s just £10 to enter. And, for non-members, it’s still only £40, a fantastic saving on the usual price of £130. We hope to raise a generous sum for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, so there’ll be a few opportunities to donate and, hopefully, win a few goodies along the way. In the evening, there’ll be a celebratory dinner at The Shoulder of Mutton.

‘Shoulder of Mutton’ (gf) Braised shoulder of lamb in a mint & redcurrant gravy with dauphinoise potatoes, seasonal vegetables             

Chicken Breast with a smoked bacon, mushroom & white wine cream sauce, chips & seasonal vegetables  (gf)

Oven Baked Salmon Fillet in a prawn and caper butter, with new potatoes & seasonal vegetables (gf)

Wild Mushroom & Spinach Risotto with parmesan shavings & a poached egg (v, gf)

Dessert

Fruit Crumble with an oat crunch, served with custard, cream or ice cream (gf oats used)
 
Warm Chocolate Brownie (contains nuts) with chocolate sauce and ice cream (gf)

A selection of 3 cheese with accompaniments
